CARU Determines Advertising and Packaging for Skechers' Toning Shoes for Girls to be Misleading. Featured in Ad Age.

CARU recently closed a case concerning Skechers' toning shoes for girls. This case came right on the heels of the FTC's $40 million settlement over deceptive advertising claims by the company. CARU determined that advertising and packaging for the girls' toning shoes was misleading and implied that the shoes would make the owner more popular and fit.
