CARU to Speak at ACI's Advertising and Marketing Conference

Senior Staff Attorney, Angela Tiffin will be speaking at the American Conference Institute's (ACI) Advertising Law conference on January 23rd and January 24th. The conference will address the industry and how to ensure that your company remains competitive and compliant. In addition to CARU other leaders like the FTC and the California Office of Consumer Privacy will speak on how to successfully implement privacy protocols as part of advertising strategies. CARU Speaks at the New York City Bar Association's Consumer Affairs Committee

Andra Dallas will be addressing the Consumer Affairs Committee of the New York City Bar Association on January 11, 2012. She will be educating them about CARU and updating them on its recent cases. The Consumer Affairs Committee of the New York City Bar Association addresses current consumer protection issues on the national, state and local levels. Recent topics include consumer credit and debt, the new Consumer Financial Protection Board, updates on consumer protection legislation and reform on the state and local levels, privacy, and advertising and marketing law. The committee often collaborates with other City Bar committees, particularly in opining on state and local legislative issues and organizing programs.
